Silk flowers are commonly used as decorative elements in traditional Chinese women's clothing, which reflect the changes in women's status throughout history and in modern society. Starting from this idea, I explore what flowers mean to women in today’s world——flowers are out of the gender frame, flowers are just flowers themselves, they are beautiful and vibrant, they mean hope and good feelings, and no longer like a shackle that binds a woman's body and defines gender boundaries.
